A collection begun in the 17th century
presents a collection begun in the 17th century by an ancestor of Marineland’s founder Admiral de la Poype de Vertrieux.
It features several thousand artefacts related to the sea: model ships, instruments of navigation, works of art, etc... This highlight of the park provides an opportunity for young people to learn about the discovery of the oceans over time, and for their elders to refresh their memory.
