This flying scorpion fish is native to the western Pacific Ocean, but is spreading to the Caribbean and the Mediterranean.

INTERESTING FACTS

It feeds mainly on small fish and crustaceans, which it hunts mainly at night. These fish have a generalist diet, which partly explains their invasive success (they are now found in the Caribbean, the Mediterranean and throughout Africa).
